The Ageing Well festival is going virtual again!
After the huge success of last year’s virtual festival, we have decided to do it again, and we need your help!
We are looking for groups and organisations to provide content to help us curate a varied and wonderful festival online that is appealing to all and represents the broad scale of what is available here in Torbay.
As per usual, a big part of the festival is showcasing what is on hand in Torbay, providing contacts and connections to help reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by anyone over the age of fifty living in the bay.
These could be anything – social groups, activity clubs, charitable organisations, services offering to aid over fifties, etc.
The plan is two hours on Riviera FM, and a total of four hours of video streamed/shared online – this is a great opportunity to show off your group, organisation, club, skill or performance to our wonderful Ageing Well audience on Friday 1st October.
What are we looking for?
- Stories – perhaps you have a good news story, a local story of interest
- Classes of all types
- Talks – any subject!
- Performances – any genre
- How to’s – how to make/bake something
- Workshops- of all types, sport, craft, art, cooking
Ideally, we would like you to send us the video/audio content, and it should be no longer than 10 minutes long.
Our team can edit it a little, but we are looking for good quality, well-filmed content that is ready to go.
We would need this sent to us by 1st August. We do have some ability to come and record you, so don’t be put off if you can’t film yourself, we would still love to hear from you.
If you’d like to find out more about the previous virtual festival, details including all videos can be found here.
Fancy it? In the first instance please use this link to express an interest.
Please complete any expressions of interest by 5pm, Tuesday 8th June.
After that, we will be in touch with you.
We really hope you would like to be involved and look forward to hearing from you.
A huge thanks for your support.
