Festival Programme
We are glad to announce that the programme for this year’s Ageing Well Festival is now available online, and will be coming to you in print over the next fortnight.
Our festival committee and staff have worked tirelessly to bring together a great line-up of talks, entertainment, interactive sessions, and organisations/groups from around Torbay for you to meet. And now, you can read all about what’s on offer, plan what you want to see and do, and then some – our programme can now be viewed or downloaded from our festival webpage: www.ageingwelltorbay.com/awf22
The programme includes information to make travelling to, around and from the venue all the more easier, so please do bear in mind, in particular, if you’re either a blue badge holder or using the bus, as bookable blue badge parking and shuttle buses from nearby bus stops are on hand.
For any queries, please phone us on 01803 212638 or email ageingwell@torbaycdt.org.uk
Volunteer at this year’s festival
Big events like these cannot happen without a team of volunteers making the magic happen behind the scenes, and we’ve got a couple of roles we’d appreciate your help with:
Indoor Stewards – to help people navigate the building, offering a welcoming, friendly face, and a helpful hand to locate various activities, speakers, stalls, workshops and entertainment.
Welcome Desk – to welcome all attendees to the festival, ensure every attendee signs in, and collect a programme of events and their feedback form.
Car Park Marshall – to help those arriving to navigate the two car parks in use for the event (one for attendees, one for those volunteering for/staffing the festival). Ensuring the disabled parking bays are allocated correctly, and supporting access for everyone, while signposting people to our minibus service, shuttling people back and forth to the bus stop on the seafront (on the 12 bus route).
If you’re up for helping out at this year’s festival, you can either apply by filling in an online form on the festival webpage, or contact Jess Slade by phoning 07772023170 or emailing jessslade@torbaycdt.org.uk.
