TORBAY Together, the one-stop for opportunities for all across the Bay has just gone Devon wide.
Torbay Together was launched by Torbay Community Development to provide a wealth of information for everything going on in the Bay as well as somewhere for volunteering opportunities and a home for the Torbay Timebank
Torbay’s go-to community platform, offers you a wide range of activities, groups, events, Timebanking and volunteering opportunities. By creating a free profile on the site you can always find something that is the best match for you.
You can create your own listings to give you best chance of reaching the wides audience not just in the Bay but across the county. You can also place your Timebanking offers and wait to hear from other users, or respond to a listing you find on the platform, by messaging them.
If you have the time, you could quite easily arrange a whole week of activities: The Fun Club and lunch at The Ship Inn on a Monday, Music at Torquay Museum on a Tuesday, Dungeons and Dragons at Idle Games club on Wednesday, Table Tennis at the Acorn Centre on Thursday and a spot of Yoga at The Edge on Friday.
Now is the time to connect with Torbay Together, as we become part of something bigger. We are joining forces with partners in Teignbridge, Torridge, South Hams, West, Mid and North Devon to support a new community platform called Devon Connect. You will still be able to access Torbay Together via our address at https://torbaytogether.org.uk but you will see that it is part of the larger platform at https://devonconnect.org
If you have any questions or want to find out more about this exciting new development, just contact Paul Trainer, Information Officer for Torbay Together. He is particularly keen to hear from community groups currently not represented on the platform so he can help them get started promoting their activities and opportunities.
