The Torbay Community Coronavirus Helpline – which launched on Monday 16th March, has now added a online form, enabling members of the public to seek help (if they’re self-isolated) with non-emergency matters, for the public to offer their assistance, and for anyone to refer others who may need help in this time of need.
The type of help people may need might be anything from fetching their shopping while they’re housebound, to walking their dogs, to providing a friendly ear and befriending over the phone. People of all ages are in need of help, and people from all walks of life are answering the call.
Our phone line is going strong, with the Torbay Community Development Trust line being available 8am-8pm, seven days a week: 01803 446022, and the Brixham Does Care line will be available 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday: 01803 857727.
